Get the right size cage for your parrot
With many people considering the adoption of parrots, it is important to have the right information readily available for these future pet owners. There are several different things to take into consideration when buying a parrot 
and it is important to correctly take care of them in order to keep them happy and healthy for the duration of their lives. Since parrots can often outlive their owners, it is extremely important to have the right cage for them to call home. This cage will be where the bird spends much of its free time, which means that it needs to be of the proper dimensions to keep it from feeling crowded and uncomfortable.
When considering which cage to buy for a parrot, it is important to take into account the bird’s size. The cage must be small enough to fit into your home but also large enough to accommodate the needs of the pet. There has to be plenty of room for food and water. Since the parrot also gets bored just like humans, there is a need for it to have plenty of toys to play with. There should also be several perches placed in the cage. It is best to get a cage that allows all of this to fit and still gives the parrot plenty of space to move around and climb on its perch. If there isn’t enough room in the cage, the parrot could suffer psychological trauma, which might cause it to start “plucking.” Plucking is when a parrot becomes depressed and begins to pull its own feathers out. Once this occurs, it can be hard to break and in some cases becomes fatal.
